Facilities Management

Facilities Management embraces a large number of diverse activities providing a cost effective and efficient service to support core operational activities and to create an environment for success

They are responsible for the maintenance, management & development of land, buildings and infrastructure at the Samlesbury, Warton and Woodford sites, and is an integrated organisation able to deliver co-ordinated solutions & operational support.

The primary role of Facilities Management is to act as the ‘Intelligent Client’, the bridge or interface between the business customer and service providers, retaining control over strategic direction and responsible for setting standards to which suppliers must conform.

Responsibilities include the management and maintenance of the sites infrastructure, provision of security, cleaning and catering services, property management and planning and project management of significant capital investment programmes.
