Quality

The Quality Function consists of Quality Engineers/Professionals deployed across the business with a line of independence from the business area they operate within.

To minimise the cost of providing a Quality service to the business every opportunity is taken to deliver from a centralised core. However, due to the nature of the business this isn’t appropriate for all activities undertaken.

The Quality Function focuses on three activity streams.

1. Prevention/planning for quality via competent quality professionals/ engineers deployed throughout the business (including the supply chain) using modern quality tools and techniques within the Company Management System framework.
2. Process control/capability assessment, analysis and improvement by competent process controllers throughout the business.
3. Independent Assurance using effective audit, review and assessment, undertaken by competent quality professionals/ engineers to assure customer and regulatory approvals are maintained

These three streams ensure that all products and services received by and supplied from Military Air Solutions are delivered- right first time every time at minimum cost, to the customer’s schedule and full satisfaction.
